Redmi Note 5 Pro vs Realme 1 - Which One Is Better?

Design

In terms of design, both the phones are good but, I would have to give the upper hand to the Realme 1. It just looks very premium, especially in the diamond black colour.

Built Quality  

The built quality of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is actually much better than the Realme 1. The Note 5 Pro has a metal back while Realme 1 has a glass fibre back.

Fingerprint Scanner

The Redmi Note 5 Pro has a fingerprint scanner while the Realme 1 does not have one. Both of them have face unlock but, the one on the Realme 1 is much faster and even works well in dark lighting conditions. 

Camera

The front camera of Redmi Note 5 Pro is definitely better than the one on the Realme 1, even in low light. 

 Surprisingly, the rear camera of Realme 1, which is a single camera, is better than the Redmi Note 5 pro, which has a dual camera.

Performance

The Realme 1 comes with MediaTek Helio P60 while the Note 5 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. The P60 is better than the 636 and thus, in terms of performance, Realme 1 is far better than the Note 5 Pro.

Other Things

The battery on the Note 5 Pro is better than that on the Realme 1. It lasts about an hour more than the Realme 1. 

The sound quality of the speakers in both the phones is pretty much the same but in terms of loudness, Realme 1 is louder.

Redmi Note 5 Pro offers quick charge while Realme 1 doesn't. The Android version of the Note 5 Pro is 7.1.2 Nougat while on Realme 1, it is 8.1.0 Oreo.

Price

The price of the base variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro is more than the top variant of the Realme 1.
