Review

Apple's new iPad Pro 2018 version is the best Apple product to date. The design of this device has been changed to boxy instead of the smooth one (2017) and I personally like this design. The device comes in two sizes, 11 inches and 12.9 inches, and in two colours, Silver and Space Grey (my favourite).

The device no longer has a home button and works on gestures (the same ones in iPhone X). It also has Face ID and unlocks at any orientation. If you're blocking the front camera (because it blends really well with the thin bezels) while unlocking, it'll indicate where the camera is. 

The screen of this device is Liquid Retina, much better than that on the Xr. It is very responsive and gives a very smooth experience. Its refresh rate can go all the way up to 120 Hz for smooth scrolling and accurate drawing.

This device finally has a USB Type C port for charging and data transfer. This basically means that you can now connect to a lot more things like monitors, cameras etc. The battery performance on this device is way above my expectations. This also has the actual Photoshop.

 The iPad Pro 2018 has two very expensive accessories, the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen and The new cover/ keyboard. The Apple Pencil 2nd Gen is much better than the 1st Gen Pencil. Both the cover/keyboard and the pencil can now be attached via magnets. This device has a lot of magnets. 

   

Apple claims that this device gives a better performance than 92% of the laptops in the market! It's very similar to MacBook Pro 2018 in terms of performance. So, gives you amazing performance, starts at the price of any normal laptop and is convenient to carry and use. Of course, with the accessories, it becomes very expensive. But, can it really replace your laptop?

Actually, it depends. If you are comfortable with just using iOS with a lot of restrictions, then it surely can replace your current laptop. But, if you some liberty and good performance, then this may not replace your laptop. According to me, Apple could reduce the restrictions so that users can properly utilize the hardware and actually use it as their laptop.
